Windblown is a solo guitar composition about that ‘leaf in the wind’ feeling. Guitar helps me process the world. I wrote this song last fall while traveling in Canada. I was getting homesick. The thing is, all aspects of home had started to fade away. I was forgetting. I knew the feeling, but not the place. I’m doing my best to listen and go where the winds take me, even when it means leaving the comforts I know well for the sake of uncomfortable growth. That is the essence of ‘Windblown.’
