Dreaming of the Ways is the first full band studio EP by Larry Lacerte. The album features a few of his favorites stepping out from self releasing solo acoustic arrangements of his originals. The title track opens the album with a look at a relationship that deeply flavored his writing for the past couple years. It is a memory of lying in bed with an old lover and seeing the light coming through the shades and wanting nothing more than to be right there- warm, cozy, and happy once again. Work of Love is about putting the effort into making a relationship last and the work that never really ends. Love needs constant attention and fine tuning. One More Whiskey is straight ahead Americana. A song about drinking to forget and drinking to find the courage to move on- because every Americana band needs a good whiskey song. Love Me Wrong brings out a heavier side of all out Rock’n’Roll. The closing track, Alone, speaks to the power in finding yourself and being alright with going it Alone in this world.
