Description: Bamps Boogie is named for my grandfather John Heltmach. He wanted to be called ‘Gramps’ when he became a grandfather. As his first grandchild I could never quite say the ‘g’ sound, and replaced it with ‘b,’ thus ‘Bamps’ was born. This is the sort of bluesy funky stuff he loved to hear me play on the guitar. This one’s for you Bamps.
